1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
SecureShare is provided by MagiLand Information Technology Inc. ("MagiLand," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the SecureShare mobile application, the SecureShare website, and related support communications.
SecureShare helps you create cleaned copies of selected photos, Live Photos, and videos by removing common metadata categories before you save or share those copies.
2. Summary of Current Privacy Practices
- SecureShare does not require an account.
- SecureShare does not upload your photos, Live Photos, videos, or file metadata to MagiLand servers.
- SecureShare does not collect app usage analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, precise location, contacts, or tracking data.
- SecureShare does not use advertising, cross-app tracking, or analytics SDKs.
- Selected media is processed locally on your device, except for Apple-managed downloads from iCloud Photos when a selected item is not already stored locally.
- If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to provide in that communication.
3. Data We Collect Through the App
SecureShare does not collect personal data through the app. The app does not transmit your selected media, original metadata, cleaned copies, app activity, crash reports, analytics events, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers to MagiLand.
The app may request permission to access your Photos library or selected media through Apple system permission controls. You can limit access to selected items or change permissions in iOS Settings. SecureShare uses that access only to perform the cleaning, saving, or sharing action you request.
4. Local Media Processing
When you select media, SecureShare processes that media locally on your device. The app creates cleaned copies and preserves your originals unless you separately delete or modify them outside the app.
Processing may create temporary files on your device while a cleaning operation is in progress. Those temporary files are used only to complete the requested operation and are not transmitted to MagiLand. Temporary files may also be affected by normal iOS storage, cache, and cleanup behavior.
5. iCloud Photos and Apple Services
If a selected item is stored only in iCloud Photos, iOS may download that item to your device so SecureShare can process it locally. That download is handled by Apple system frameworks and your Apple account, iCloud, and device settings. SecureShare does not upload your media to MagiLand.
6. Sharing and Saving Cleaned Copies
After cleaning, you choose whether to save cleaned copies to your Photos library or share them using iOS sharing options. If you share a cleaned copy with another app, website, person, or service, that destination handles the file under its own terms and privacy practices.
SecureShare is intended to remove common metadata categories, but it does not control what a destination service may add, infer, store, or disclose after you share a file.
7. Website and Support Communications
The SecureShare website is intended to be static and privacy-preserving. It does not use analytics scripts, tracking pixels, advertising scripts, newsletter forms, or behavioral advertising technologies.
If you contact MagiLand for privacy or support questions, we receive the information you choose to send. This may include your name, email address, message content, device context, screenshots, logs, or other information you decide to provide. Please avoid sending photos, videos, or sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.
We use support communications to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, maintain records of the request, protect our legal rights, and improve SecureShare.
8. Disclosure of Information
Because SecureShare does not collect app data, MagiLand does not sell, rent, trade, or disclose app data to advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.
Support communications may be handled by service providers that help us operate our website, email, support, or business systems. We use such providers only for the purposes described in this Policy and require them to handle information appropriately. We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or if necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of SecureShare.
9. Retention and Deletion
MagiLand does not retain app-collected personal data because SecureShare does not collect personal data through the app.
Support communications are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve SecureShare. You may request deletion of support information you provided, and we will respond as required by applicable law. We may retain limited information where retention is required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You can control SecureShare's access to your Photos library through iOS permission settings. You can also choose whether to save or share cleaned copies after processing.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data that MagiLand maintains about you, and you may have the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Because SecureShare does not collect app data, these requests will generally apply only to support communications or other information you have directly provided to MagiLand.

11. International Processing
MagiLand is based in Canada. If you contact us, your communication may be processed in Canada or in other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy protections may vary by jurisdiction, but we handle information according to this Policy and applicable law.
12. Children's Privacy
SecureShare is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The app does not require an account and does not collect app usage data. If you believe a child has provided personal data to MagiLand through a support communication, contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law.
13. Security
SecureShare is designed to minimize privacy risk by processing selected media locally and avoiding app data collection. For support communications, we use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No electronic system or communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when SecureShare or our privacy practices change. If a future version of SecureShare adds accounts, analytics, cloud processing, payments, advertising, third-party SDKs, or other features that collect personal data, we will update this Policy and the App Store privacy details before or at the time those changes are released, as required.
